Loretta A. Talbert

Loretta A. Talbert is a commercial lawyer in her fourteenth year of practice. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree and her Masters in Education from Florida State University. Ms. Talbert received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa College of Law. While attending law school, Ms. Talbert served as a member of the Iowa Law Review. She also interned for the Circuit Court for the Second Judicial Circuit in Tallahassee, Florida.

Ms. Talbert has represented individuals and businesses in a broad range of commercial matters including foreclosures, real property disputes, business torts and bankruptcy. Ms. Talbert also has served as a Judicial Staff Attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit in Jacksonville, Florida. As a Judicial Staff Attorney, she was responsible for writing recommendations, orders and judgments for forty-seven judges.

Ms. Talbert became associated with the Firm in 2002 and specializes in commercial litigation, creditors' rights and bankruptcy. She is a member of The Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
